The perfect color... it's the finishing touch on your beautifully crafted Pilates equipment.

With 88 colors to choose from, you can create exactly the look you want. We upholster our equipment with heavy-gauge Boltaflex® Colorguard vinyl. Boltaflex wipes clean with common cleaning agents and provides outstanding resistance to scuffing, perspiration, bacteria and stains.

Please note that the following colors have been discontinued: Apricot, Blush, Dusty Rose, Froth, Jewelstone, Lilac, Melba, Mulberry, Mushroom, Rose Ash, Rosewood, Rum, Spearmint, Storm, Sweet Rose and Wintergreen.

Standard Colors

Wood Choices

Strong, beautiful, environmentally sensitive – no compromises

We offer two standard wood choices: Strata Rock Maple, and Strata Artisan Maple upon request. Strata’s superb strength and durability come from its solid, multi-grained core, laminated in alternating grain directions. This creates an exceptionally strong, straight board, which neutralizes the forces that could otherwise cause twisting. The result is an exceptionally strong, sturdy wood – ideal for Reformer side rails – with a distinctive “butcher block” look.

The Strata engineering process also uses more of the tree with very little waste, making it not only stronger than single-plank maple, but more environmentally sensitive.

Strata® Rock Maple

Standard for all our Reformers, Rock Maple has a tighter, denser, and more consistent grain than oak or pine. As a result, it better resists expansion and contraction from changes in temperature and humidity. The joints remain strong, and the bolts remain tight in the wood. It is one of the reasons our equipment lasts practically forever.

Strata® Artisan Maple

Strata Artisan Maple – equally durable and eco-friendly – is a beautiful alternative to the more uniform grain and color of Strata Rock Maple. You will notice more natural color, character and pronounced grain detail. An artful alternative to consider.

Both are complemented by the smooth and lustrous finish we give our wood equipment, to bring out the beauty of the grain. All Strata equipment is backed by Balanced Body’s Lifetime Warranty.

Exotic Woods

Strata Rock Maple and Strata Artisan Maple are our standard wood choices, but you can also custom-order equipment in Cherry, Mahogany, Walnut and other woods.
