A traditional Reformer, the Pilates Legacy represents the essence of Joseph Pilates' original concepts in a state-of-the-art apparatus. Developed in collaboration with Bob Liekens, Susan Moran and Dr. Howard Sichel of Power Pilates, the dimensions and adjustable carriage stops are ideally suited to the biomechanics of the classical Pilates system. Other features include oak-tanned leather straps with handles, a 3-position footbar with padded uprights, deluxe memory foam padding, and shoulder rests with a wide base and extra padding on the top. Frame

• Frame is sanded by hand and finished with a lustrous satin finish.
• Foot plate bracket.
• Heavy-duty hardware throughout. All accessible aluminum parts are anodized to reduce friction, prevent oxidation, and eliminate "black dust."

Carriage and Straps

• Carriages are lightweight yet strong, for an extremely responsive and stable surface.
• Precision carriage system now rides on one-piece rail structure that provides a rock solid, smooth carriage ride and offers even greater frame stability.
• Carriage tracking system creates an ultra-smooth, virtually silent ride. Our 8-wheel system features four custom-built vertical wheels to support the carriage, and four adjustable sidewheels to guide the carriage smoothly down the track.
• Adjustable memory foam shoulder rests are sculpted for comfort. Easily removed for mat conversion. Rests offer an optional adjustment 1" wider than standard.
• Deluxe memory foam carriage padding., upholstered in Boltaflex® Colorguard. Choose from five standard or 83 custom colors.
• 3-position padded headrest for cervical support.

Our Tower Retrofit Kit creates a space-saving Pilates Reformer / Tower Combination that enables you to work in multiple planes of resistance on a moving platform. Add new exercises to your repertoire to increase abdominal strength, core stability, flexibility and balance, without requiring any additional space for your equipment. Engineered and built for stability, our unique attachment system disperses the stress throughout the frame. We also offer the easiest conversion system: 2 mats fit over the carriage and on top of the frame, so there's no need to lift and turn over the carriage. Mats can also be used as floor mats.
