Return Policy
- All returned items must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number clearly marked on the outside of the package. Call 1-800-PILATES (or 916-388-2838) to receive an RMA number. You must request an RMA number within 30 days from the date of shipment, and we must receive the returned items within 30 days from the date you received an RMA number.
- Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging. You are responsible for return shipping costs and any damage or loss during shipment back to us. We do not accept responsibility for any items returned without an RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package.
Items that may not be returned
- Custom items may not be returned. This includes items with custom upholstery.
- Equipment that may not be returned: Gyrotonic pulley tower combination units, wooden reformers, trapeze tables, reformer/trapeze combination units, reformer/tower combination units, wall tower mats, ped-a-puls, ladder barrels, wunda chairs, EXO™ chairs, arm chairs and combo chairs.
- Items that may not be returned: springs.
Warranties
Limited Warranty
Balanced Body Inc. provides the following limited warranty to the original retail purchaser of our products: Our products will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for the duration of the warranty period described below. At our option, we will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any defective product covered by our warranty, including return freight to you. You must follow the return procedure described below when returning any product that you believe is covered by our warranty. Our warranty excludes normal wear and tear; damage caused by failure to follow instructions, misuse, abuse, modification, or unauthorized repair; scratches to the finish, and tears or indentations in the upholstery.
Lifetime Warranty
on the wood frames of all Reformers, Trapeze Tables and Reformer Trapeze Combinations.
10 Year Warranty
on Allegro® Reformer frames and footbars, Ladder Barrels, Step Barrels, Wunda Chairs, Combo Chairs, Arm Chairs, Wall Towers, Springboards, Towers, and Foot Correctors, excluding springs and mechanical wear parts.
5 Year Warranty
on the EXO™ Chair and Allegro Sport® Reformer, excluding springs and mechanical wear parts.
2 Year Warranty
on the Pilates IQ® Reformer (for non-commercial use), and on all springs and other mechanical wear parts.
1 Year Warranty on rotator disks, oversized standing platforms, BAC disc sets, spring circles, Flex Ring Toners® and balance boards.
90 day Warranty on the Ultra-Fit Circle®.
Warranty Return Procedure
You are responsible for the cost of returning products to us for warranty adjustment. All returned products must be accompanied by proof of purchase and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number clearly marked on the outside of the package. Call 1-800-PILATES (or 916-388-2838) to receive an RMA number. You are responsible for any damage or loss during shipment back to us. You are responsible for the cost of return freight to you in the event we decline to make a warranty adjustment. We do not accept responsibility for any items returned without an RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package.
Limitation of Liability
THE FOREGOING IS OUR EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL BALANCED BODY BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
THE USE OF OUR LABEL AND LOGO NOTWITHSTANDING, OUR WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED AND SOLD BY FOREIGN LICENSEES.
Canceling an order
Capital equipment
Your initial 100% deposit will be returned in full when you cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. If you cancel an order after 24 hours, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee. Your initial deposit will be returned to you minus the restocking fee. Capital equipment includes reformers, trapeze tables, reformer/trapeze combinations, reformer/tower combinations, chairs, ladder barrels and any equipment in a custom color. All other equipment falls under "accessories."
Accessories
All accessory orders are final and may not be cancelled. However, you may return eligible accessory items (please see above for a list of items that may NOT be returned). If your item is returnable, you must contact us within 30 days of the item's ship date to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number (see Return Procedure).
Changing an order
Capital equipment
You may change a capital order within 24 hours without an additional charge. Changing your order will increase the original lead time by one day. If you change an order after 24 hours, we must cancel the order, then submit a new order. All cancelled orders are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
