Balanced Body’s® CoreAlign™ Promotes Healthy Lifestyle Through Cardio, Strength and Rehab
Pilates Manufacturer’s newest addition elevates functional training to new levels
SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 17, 2010 — Balanced Body®, the world’s largest Pilates company, introduces its newest addition, the CoreAlign™. Developed by physical therapist Jonathan Hoffman in collaboration with Balanced Body, the CoreAlign is designed to improve posture, balance and functional movement, while stimulating the core stability muscles. It allows users to perform challenging exercises, deep stretches and core-controlled aerobic training.
“The CoreAlign takes functional motion to a level not seen in the industry before,” said Ken Endelman, founder and CEO of Balanced Body. “This one-of-a-kind exercise experience emphasizes standing work and combines cardio training with elements of mind-body exercise found in Pilates. It also acts as an essential rehab tool helping to improve gait and core training, and balance and neuromuscular retraining. We are excited for studios, fitness centers, personal trainers and physical therapists to discover the capabilities of the CoreAlign, as it provides a fun and challenging workout with incredible results.”
Because the CoreAlign is so easy to use, clients at all fitness levels – from top level athletes to beginners - will feel the difference, even after one workout. It can be used for adduction, stretching, warm up, cool down or single-purpose exercises.
- Two sets of tubing assemblies (24 total), including light, medium, and heavy resistances;
- Two cart stopper blocks (to optionally limit the range of travel);
- Two speed bumps (to provide an angled surface on the cart when pushing at low angles);

Optional accessories include:
- Ladder with hardware for wall mounting (required for many of the exercises)
