Favorite part of your job:
I like the fact that Balanced Body still has a small company feel even though we are growing. You get a chance to get to know your co-workers and people in many departments. There is very little bureaucracy (if any), so it is easy to get things done. Balanced Body also has a very casual culture and I get to wear shorts in the summer time (and sometimes the winter! After all, this is California).
Do you do Pilates/what is your relationship to Pilates:
No, but I should! My wife takes classes on the Allegro and really enjoys it.
What do you like to do in your free time:
In my spare time, I love spending time with my wife and son… soon to be two sons! I also am a fan of the outdoors and go camping and fishing whenever I can.
Anything else you’d like to add:
I love the fact that we make the best products in the Pilates industry, right here in Sacramento!

What do you like about your job:
I really enjoy getting the opportunity to meet and work with instructors from all over the world and helping them make a healthy and positive impact on other people lives.
What do you like to do in your spare time:
In addition to working full time, I’m also a grad student in Exercise Physiology, so I don’t have much spare time! But when I do, I definitely make time to work out. I also enjoy eating great food (which is maybe why I work out so much!), and spending time hanging out with my “daughter” also known as my English bulldog.
I’m currently taking various instructor training modules, and going through other BB programs to expand my knowledge of body mechanics, anatomy, Pilates, mind/body…
Favorite fitness “thing” or what do you like to do to keep healthy:
Anything to break a sweat! Killing it on the treadmill, lifting weights, Pilates, riding my bike around town…
