A traditional design meets state-of-the-art craftsmanship.
A traditional design meets state-of-the-art craftsmanship. Created in collaboration with Amy Taylor Alpers and Rachel Taylor Segel of The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO, and meticulously tested for two years, the CenterLine® equipment suite is based on measurements used on original components – from carriages to springs to straps – upgraded with Balanced Body’s unparalleled craftsmanship and materials.
The CenterLine® family is the most accurate, precise and beautiful traditional equipment on the market. Each piece enables practitioners to:
- Feel the profound changes of natural, unified and full-body movement that the traditional approach provides.
- Smoothly transition exercise sequences while facilitating aerobic benefits.
- Attain flowing movement and the right tempo and rhythm to promote better breathing and circulation.
- Make fewer adjustments so a lesson progresses swiftly and smoothly.
The CenterLine provides a traditional Pilates experience, modern craftsmanship, customer service, and on-time delivery.
Our collaborators: Amy Taylor Alpers and Rachel Taylor Segel of The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO. The CenterLine Reformer is deeply rooted in the origins of Pilates, yet with subtle innovations that you and your clients will appreciate.
Details make the difference. Every touch point on the Reformer is optimized to give you exactly what you need and nothing else.
Carriage Ride and Shoulder Blocks
- The deliberate resistance, feedback and “end feel” so critical in the traditional experience of carriage ride.
- A quiet ride, so you and your client can focus on the work, not the noise.
- Shoulder blocks that are comfortable and stable, with secure support for shoulders, hands and feet.
A Consensus on Geometry
Our process yielded superb optimization for transitions, safety and ease of use.
We put our 40 years of experience to work in developing new springs for this machine. The CenterLine comes with four non-plated, semi-heavy springs.

The CenterLine® chair is based on measurements used on original components – from carriages to springs to straps – upgraded with Balanced Body's unparalleled craftsmanship and materials. Comfortable, durable and easy to use, the CenterLine® Chair offers practitioners a great tradiitonal experience with a small, single-pedal footprint.
Incredibly durable, the CenterLine® Cadillac offers exercises for all ages and abilities, from spring-assisted sit-ups to advanced acrobatics. The lower height (5" shorter than the Balanced Body Trapeze Table), allows users and instructors to more easily reach the upper rails of the canopy.
The table is built with lapped and fitted joints for maximum stability. The frame is of chrome-plated steel tubing drawn through a cylindrical die to eliminate seams and increase tensile strength. Sliding cross bars feature self-lubricating, greaseless bearings for ease of movement. They are locked in place with plastic-tipped screws, preventing burrs which hinder slider movement. All metal parts on Balanced Body Cadillacs (Trapeze Tables) are chrome, with the exception of the nickel-plated springs and anodized aluminum bars and sliding cross bars.
Perform much of the Cadillac repertoire with the space-saving and economical CenterLine® Pole System, a variation of the Wall Tower. The CenterLine Pole System was created in collaboration with Amy Taylor Alpers and Rachel Taylor Segel of The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO.
Available separately, or with a Mat & Moon Box package. Purchase Pole System together with Mat & Moon Box package and save $200.
The CenterLine® Foot Corrector’s spring tension will challenge the beginner to advanced practitioner. It effectively works the muscles of the foot by raising it off the floor to aid alignment, as well as working the leg and pelvis. The saddle is an excellent size to open the sole horizontally as well as laterally. The saddle holes have space around the posts so that the foot muscles learn to grab the surface and work correctly in order to make no noise. All this enables full body connection. Tone and balance the body from the sole up!
