Stand in front of and facing away from the anchor. Hold the handles with both hands and place one leg in a long loop behind the body.
STARTING POSITION VARIATION
1 Point of Suspension - Let go of the handles and place one leg in a long loop behind the body.
Bend the weight bearing leg and reach the suspended leg back. The arms, whether in the handles or not, reach forward as the body lowers into the lunge. Stand up to return to starting position.
MAKE IT HARDER
Deepen the lunge and do not use the handles.
MAKE IT EASIER
Decrease the depth of the lunge and use handles to assist with balance.
