Brand Evolution

From waterbeds to Pilates equipment, we’ve come a long way, baby! 😉 Check out how the Balanced Body brand has evolved in half a century.

1975: Liquid Sleep Interiors
Ken began with a custom waterbed and furniture shop. One day, a customer asked him to build a Reformer, and the rest is history.
1976: Current Concepts
Ken built his first Reformer in a 1200 sq. ft. space shared with an auto mechanic; Pilates equipment soon became his livelihood.
1998: Balanced Body®
Renaming the company to better reflect our mission and values marked a major step forward and the start of a new era.
2010: A New Look
Balanced Body rebrands with a new logo, marking our evolution as a company dedicated to improving lives through quality movement.
