STRATA® WOODS

Strong, beautiful, eco-sensitive and engineered to last a lifetime.

Balanced Body’s Strata® woods are comprised of a solid, multi-grained core laminated in alternating directions, for enhanced wood strength and with a distinctive “butcher block” look. All our woods are from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified suppliers and engineered to use more of the tree and less waste.

Our standard woods are Strata® Rock Maple and Strata® Artisan Maple. Rock Maple is rated harder than beech, oak and pine, with consistent color and grain for uniform look, durability and less expansion/contraction. Our Artisan Maple is equally resistant to wear-and-tear and eco-friendly, with pronounced grain detail for a unique look. Both woods have a lustrous finish that brings out the beauty of the natural grain and protects the wood.
