The Studio Reformer frame height differs to support different users, exercises, and support:

  • 14″/36cm frame is most common height; facilitates all exercises.
  • 18″/46cm frame is excellent for less mobile and older users. Also, good accessibility for wheelchair transfers.
  • 24″/61cm frame provides good clinical ergonomics for manual adjustment and support. Too high for standing and lunge exercises.

The Studio Reformer is the number one choice of Pilates professionals for studio use. The heavier solid Strata Maple frame is built to be sturdy and stable for all types of users and programs. Made-to-order options including custom vinyl colors and variable heights allow studios to customize their Studio Reformers as needed for their clients.

Yes! The Studio Reformer includes 5 Balanced Body Signature Springs: 3 Red for medium resistance, 1 Blue for light resistance, and 1 Green for heavy resistance. The springs are nickel-plated for durability and offer up to 46 resistances. Replacement springs can be purchased from Balanced Body.
